S. Pete Worden

Dr. S. “Pete” Worden, (Brig Gen, USAF, Ret, PhD) held several US Air Force positions and a research professorship at the University of Arizona, Dr. Worden was then Director of NASA’s Ames Research Center. He now leads the Breakthrough Initiatives, a privately funded suite of space science programs to find life beyond earth and explore interstellar space. He was also an Advisor to the Luxembourg Space Agency and was knighted by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for his space services.
