The U of A Partnership Expo Booth offers you the opportunity to showcase your research and expertise, connect with future collaborators and meet potential graduate students at major national conferences. The branded U of A booth reflects the excellence and breadth of our institution with engaging materials, visuals, signage and booth programming, all within a comfortable and attractive space. Amplify your message and increase your visibility by collaborating with the U of A Partnership Expo Booth. In contrast to manning a simple table or small booth at heavily attended major national conferences, your research will be featured front and center in the branded U of A space that attracts hundreds of visitors and encourages networking.

  • Global Visibility: Events such as AGU 2025 and AAAS 2026 attract researchers, policymakers, funders and students from across the globe. A prominent U of A booth ensures that you will be seen, heard and remembered.
    • AGU ~ 20,000+ attendees

  • Strategic Networking: The U of A booth offers a comfortable space that fosters high-impact conversations with partners, collaborators and recruits.
  • Unified Branding: Our booth design and shared messaging reflects the breadth and excellence of our institution, with branded materials, visuals and signage created by ORP's communications team.
  • Cost-Effective Presence: Pooling resources reduces costs while enhancing impact—booth fees, buildout, staffing and collateral are all covered through shared investment.

  • Staff the booth and promote U of A: Staff the booth in 3-hour shifts to promote U of A research in general and your unit/research specifically. This is a great opportunity for students to participate.
  • Provide educational programming: Give a talk at the booth. Host a roundtable or panel discussion. Offer a one-hour “meet and greet” for drop-in conversations. This drives traffic and highlights U of A research innovations.
  • Strategic planning: Our booth design and shared messaging will reflect the breadth and excellence of our institution, with professional materials, visuals and signage.
  • Promotional materials: Provide your program’s business cards, rack cards, videos and swag.
  • Contribute to the funding: Pooling resources reduces costs while enhancing impact—booth fees, buildout, staffing and collateral are all covered through shared investment. Costs include:
  1. Conference booth space rental ~ $12,000
  2. Booth carpet, cleaning during/before/after event, electricity~ $8,000
  3. Setup and take down of booth ~ $2,000
  4. Booth shipping and handling charges ~ $14,000
  5. Incidentals during the event ~ $1,000
  6. The reception for Alumni generally runs ~ $15,000- A Huge Thank You to Michael Luria and the College of Science for sponsoring the AGU reception in prior years!

Collaborate with Us

Collaborating and pooling resources keeps costs low and helps expand overall impact. By sharing the costs of booth rental, build-out, shipping, marketing and event support, the U of A booth is better positioned to attract significantly more visitors and have a greater impact. Additional ways to collaborate include:

  • Staffing the booth in 3-hour shifts, 

  • Developing and providing promotional materials for distribution, including business cards, rack cards, videos, swag,

  • Hosting a reception and connecting with thousands of attendees through booth programming  such as talks, panels, roundtables or meet-and-greets.
