Timeline: COI Review

The University's Institutional Review Committee ("IRC") reviews disclosures to determine if the disclosed outside interest could directly and significantly affect the design, conduct, or reporting of research or could compromise, or appear to compromise, the investigator's objectivity in the performance of his or her institutional responsibilities. The IRC is a University-wide committee that consists of at least ten faculty members.  Below, please find the IRC’s tentative meeting schedule.  Meetings are occasionally moved to accommodate the various schedules of the faculty that serve on the committee.  All completed disclosures received in a given month will be reviewed no later than the following IRC meeting. Provided you do not have a financial conflict of interest that requires management, the COI review process can take up to 60 days to complete.
